A singer since the age of six, vocalist and arranger Kris Adams was a member of the famed early 90's graduate school class at Boston's New England Conservatory that included friends and fellow vocalists Lisa Thorson, Patrice Williamson, and Luciana Souza.

Now an Associate Professor of Harmony at Berklee College of Music, Adams pushes the boundaries of traditional jazz vocals with her own inventive reharmonizations and arrangements as a working vocalist in Boston and beyond. Her sophomore release, Weaver of Dreams, was released in June 2002.
